Tuesday March 5th

 

MORNING SCHEDULE

Enjoy an early morning guided hike in the Winelands followed by breakfast.

Freshen up before your shuttle transfer to local community school to meet Cape Town's young aspiring Pickleball stars in the making. This will be a full day of pickleball drills and open play with a short lunch break

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AFTERNOON SCHEDULE

Shuttle from the courts to a renowned wine estate in the Stellenbosch winelands for a tasting and gourmet picnic lunch.

MORNING SCHEDULE

Relax and rejuvenate with a private morning yoga session with a qualified instructor while being held by the beauty of the bursting vineyards, sweet-smelling orchards, and picturesque mountain views. Stretch and tone muscles and allow all your tension to melt away followed by a healthy breakfast. AFTERNOON SCHEDULE

Transfer to Cape Point Vineyards for lunch followed by a visit to Boulder Beach. Continue with a city orientation tour and make your way to the Table Mountain Cable Station to take the cable car to the top of iconic Table Mountain for more breathtaking views and scenery.

After breakfast this morning, you will be transferred from Boschendal Estate to the Cape Town Airport.  On arrival, you will board your short flight from Cape Town to Skukuza to start your safari journey.

What you'll do

One of the continent’s most famous wildlife watching areas, the Kruger National Park and its surrounding private reserves need little introduction! Filled to bursting with an abundance of wildlife, the Big Five are all present and correct and the chances of seeing cats are excellent. Many come to Kruger to see the secretive leopard with a good success rate, and white rhino also feature high on the elusive species list. In the northern, remote areas, the birding is fantastic, and they are your best bet for a back-to-nature walking safari (although walks are also available in other areas too).  In Kruger, however, game drives, self-drive or guided, are the words on everyone’s lips. With its vast road network and good facilities, Kruger is one of the best places in the world for a self-drive safari and the majority of roads are suitable for 2WD. Otherwise, join a game drive with a professional guide; morning and afternoon game drives are par for the course but in some concessions, evening drives are available for the chance to see the rare nocturnal species. Pickleball Information

Tuesday the 5th on the stellenbosch courts we will have access to permanent courts. At boschendal estate and in our time in Kruger we will use a mobile court for pop up activities. We will likely play between 10-12 hours of pickleball throughout our trip. Please reach out if you would like more information on the mobile court we will use.

Instructors will be certified professional instructors, more info to follow.

NOTES

$100 USD contribution included in the package costs goes directly toward the Pickleball Cape Town (non-profit company) toward the development of Pickleball in disadvantaged schools and communities.  Pickleball equipment donations can also be brought along to empower a little aspiring pickler.
